To maintain and perpetuate Hawaiian culture through the promotion of Hawaiian amateur water sports; to teach, train, instruct and expose men, women, and children in the ancient arts, crafts, and history of Hawaiian canoe paddling and surfing.

To provide means and facilities for activities fostering the development and maintenance of strong and healthy minds, bodies, and spirits among all peoples.

To provide opportunities to sponsor and participate in competitive inter-club, inter-island, national and international Hawaiian canoe racing and surfing and to support amateur athletes for such competition.
